PAAC: Partnership of African American Churches

Medication Assisted Treatment-Prescription Drug and Opioid Addiction Center

This initiative targets underserved adults 18 years and older with opioid use disorder (OUD) in Kanawha County, West Virginia, with a focus on African Americans, individuals re-entering the community from incarceration, service members, veterans, and their families.

The purpose of Infinite Pathways MAT-PDOA Initiative is to expand and enhance access to services for persons with an opioid use disorder seeking or receiving treatment with medication and related services. The initiative was specifically designed to address barriers to MAT, including (but not limited to) reducing the cost of treatment, expanding access to treatment and recovery, addressing discrimination and stigma associated with accessing treatment, and supporting long-term recovery.
